Coummunity Action Project (CAP)
Harness the Power of Local Leadership
to Overcome Challenges in Your Organization
The Community Action Project offers nonprofit organizations a unique opportunity to collaborate with a team of aspiring local leaders. Through CAP, our Leadership Louisa participants will apply their newly developed leadership skills to research and create a tangible solution for a specific challenge your organization is facing. Whether it’s logistical hurdles, programming needs, or volunteer coordination, our teams are ready to help you overcome barriers and move your mission forward!
Why Participate?
Fresh Perspectives: Our diverse Leadership Louisa teams bring a wealth of expertise and new ideas to help tackle your organization's most pressing challenges.
Tailored Solutions: Teams work directly with your organization to develop a tangible, implementable solution designed to meet your unique needs.
No Cost: This is a pro bono partnership. You get a ready-to-implement strategy or solution, without the cost or fundraising.
Long-term Impact: CAP teams focus on creating sustainable solutions that can continue benefiting your organization beyond the scope of the project.
What's Required?
Introduction
Attend the class on February 20, 2025, 3:00-4:00 PM and present your organization’s mission and overview, define one major problem or barrier your organization is facing (excluding fundraising), such as logistics, programming, communication, volunteer needs, etc. and then engage in a brief Q&A session with the team to provide more context for the problem.
Ongoing
Between February and June, be available for occasional communication (phone, email, or Zoom) to provide clarity as the team develops their proposed solution.
