Grant Writing Class

Nonprofit of the Year

The Nonprofit Organization of the Year award recognizes a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Louisa County for its exceptional creativity, innovation, and dedication to building a sustainable organization. This award celebrates excellence in engaging staff and volunteers and a strong commitment to the organization's mission within the community. Nominations are open to community members, businesses, and organizations, with the opportunity to submit multiple nominations for different organizations.

Program of the Year

The Impact Program of the Year award honors a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Louisa County for a standout program that significantly benefits its community. This award recognizes initiatives that demonstrate exceptional impact and address key needs of the constituents. Nominations are open to any community member, business, or organization, with multiple nominations allowed for different programs.

Community Partner Honor Roll

The Community Partner Honor Roll is a special award designed to acknowledge an exceptional individual or entity that has made significant contributions to a Louisa County nonprofit's mission. Only nonprofit organizations may submit nominations for this honor. It offers nonprofits the chance to publicly recognize a volunteer, donor, staff member, or partner who has made extraordinary contributions through their support, involvement, or partnership. This award highlights the outstanding impact of these contributors on the organization and its mission.

Center for Nonprofit Excellence
